Which village/town to Stay?
The most popular places in Cappadocia is obviously Göreme or Uçhisar.
Activities such as Hot Air Balloon Tours, ATV or Horseback Riding Tours are primarily conducted in Göreme, while Uçhisar is conveniently located just 5km away. However, other towns or villages are situated farther from the main activity and attraction points.
Ortahisar, Ürgüp, Çavuşin, Mustafapaşa and Avanos offer alternative accommodation options for those unable to find availability in Göreme or Uçhisar.
You can watch the balloons in Göreme or Uçhisar while other towns do not offer this option. Please remember balloon takes off and fly over Göreme and Uçhisar.
